23 January (Part 1) - A crackpot hole
This
photograph totally fails to reveal how deep the depression at the end of Florence
Road has become. Something like a very large soup bowl. It's been sinking over
several months but has now developed a crack through which rain water gurgles
down as if it were a drain.
Maybe it will one day
swallow up one of
Bexley’s traffic wardens and there will be no trace of him apart from two
fingers jabbing at the underside of passing Crossrail lorries.
P.S. Readers have said that this has been reported
several times over recent months.
