28 September - Two months and counting

What do we pay them for?It is now a full two months since I first noticed that this paper bin was overflowing which presumably means that it is more than three months since Country Style last emptied it.

At least six homes have had no recycling services in that time, and they have paid for it.

How many of Bexley Council’s contracts are not enforced and how much of our money does their ineptitude waste?

“I was hoping you may be attending the General Purposes & Audit Committee this week. I am still unable to get out of the house and, irritatingly, it is still not webcast, so a blog article would be most interesting”, was something close to a question posed anonymously today. Much as I seem to hate going out in the evenings, the current intention is to attend General Purposes on Wednesday. Asking questions anonymously always feels a little odd to me.
