19 July (Part 1) - Railway matters : A correction

While the Transport Users’ Sub-Committee was waiting for Sean Brackstone, the Reform Leader, to take his seat I attempted to make excuses for him by letting the Chairman know that he worked nights and had to make suitable arrangements to be able to attend. However by the following day Sean’s own X post announced that he had been at the CPAC conference which led to some false conclusions.

He works nights so it makes life hard for him.

Sean had been to the conference but only until mid-afternoon when he returned home for a short rest before going to work. So my original excuse for him was correct although it was not a total Get Out of Jail Free card. Sean should have sent his substitute. Councillor Oke Ene. (Crayford.)

Reform is still in its learning phase and Sean has assured me he will not be forgetting his substitute Members again.
