17 July (Part 1) - Green split
At
the last local election the Green party operated as a joint Bexley and Greenwich
organisation but after doing very well in Greenwich where they are now the
official opposition to Labour and not so very badly in Bexley too, the two
boroughs have gone their separate Green ways. We now have our very own Bexley
Green party and to prove how serious they are, they endured the whole of last
Wednesday’s Full Council meeting.
They know that if they are to stand any chance of electoral success hey must get to understand the
way Bexley Council operates.
