Golf Pods
Golf Pods are not back on the Agenda of next week’s Planning meeting so one
must assume that Councillors have not yet got around to checking how badly they
will deafen the residents of South Gipsy Road. This will give the residents and
their Reform UK supporters more time to mount their opposition.
As I understand it, there are only 28 affected residents so there is not much
scope for a petition but a noise assessment has been produced which it is to be
hoped might influence Councillors otherwise poised to blight residents’ lives for all time.
According to residents, only Reform UK Councillors have expressed any interest in their plight.
Go Ape
As you may have read the anti-Go Ape people have
taken legal proceedings against Bexley Council in an attempt to choke off a
source of revenue and cost us all money in legal fees.
They also tried to take Bonkers off air with a complaint to my web host. Within their complaint was the allegation that Bonkers was a serial offender
against GDPR. This probably indicates which malign individual is behind
derailing Bexley Council’s Go Ape plans. if suspicions are well founded, The biggest liar who ever graced their benches.
Only one person has ever accused me of breaking GDPR a year or two after I published
a statement made to Kent Police. It was alleged that I made up a story about a
Councillor being found “guilty” at a Code of Conduct hearing. The statement
included the line, “With regard to this a hearing took place and it
was determined that I was found not guilty” while everyone at the time, and
those who remember it now, knew to be totally untrue.
On the basis of that lie the police charged me with harassment and after the
case fell apart my MP, Teresa Pearce, pursued Kent Police with the aim of getting
the miscreant prosecuted for making false statements her constituent.
Teresa got nowhere which may or may not have been because the liar was mates
with the Police and Crime Commissioner, himself a former Bexley Councillor.
The full statement included another lie about the complainant’s state of health
which may arguably have been a breach of GDPR, except that it couldn’t be
because it was put on line long before GDPR reached the statute book. In my opinion my
solicitor ill-advised me not to argue the case because of the possibility of
rogue judges but I most definitely did not break GDPR unless retrospective law
had already become a thing.
I have a whole load of stuff on file about this individual and there is no law
that can prevent publication of facts proved in open court. So far I have
chosen not to do so.
I believe it is more than likely that Stop Go Ape is being supported and
encouraged by the thoroughly dishonest and think you should be very wary about
the causes you choose to support. Especially monetarily.
