25 August - Suspicious minds

Ever since a small gang of friends, Mick, Elwyn, Gus, all sadly gone, used to research and supply tales of Council wrong doing way back in 2010 I have preferred to present facts here on BiB and leave readers to draw their own conclusions. There are bound to have been some failures along the way but that is the basic aim.

The recent controversy involving Planning and the apparently too close associations between Councillors and Mr. Singh is intriguing to say the very least. Why does the former Planning Committee Chairman and his former Councillor wife allow themselves to be photographed with the people who in different circumstances assault photographers whenever they can? Why does the Councillor for Blackfen & Lamorbey turn up in Crayford to stand alongside his Sikh friend? You do not need me to tell you it looks very bad.

Some people have already made up their minds as to what is going on and they may be right but what bothers me is that favours have been bestowed on Mr. Singh continuously since 2015. There have been several changes of personnel in Planning over that period and three Committee Chairmen and numerous different Committee Members. (Perhaps I should point out that as far as I know there have been no planning applications since the third and current Chairman took over.)

Are people saying that everyone in a position of influence has been bent for the past eleven years?

It would seem to be a weak point in their argument but nothing would surprise me about Bexley Council. Below is what some people have been saying on X.

Phil Savage was an unsuccessful Reform UK candidate in Crook Log. Dave Joy was involved in the VCD negotiations with Mr. Singh and @tonyofsidcup needs no introduction. Nothing but deceit and lies says Dave. Well that sounds very much like Bexley Council to me and a good qualification for being their friend.
