The unusual site banners are to bring attention to the fact that Labour activists in Bexley are manipulating Facebook Groups with fictional posters. They deny it, threaten police action for ‘harassing’ a fictitious character and then demonstrate their willingness to impersonate by creating a false Administrator account in my name. The banner on display is chosen randomly from a selection of three, with a fourth bearing the familiar Bexley Council is Bonkers logo.

30 December - Con Air

I once told Gareth Bacon MP, while he was a Counclllor here in Bexley and as we both went through the swing doors into the Council chamber that I usually agreed with everything he said and his response was to the effect that he didn’t believe me. I suspect that as a Bexley Conservative he was so accustomed to dealing with liars that he didn’t recognise the truth when faced with it.

Daily TelegraphOn Wednesday this week Gareth was featured in the Daily Telegraph (on the web the day before) putting forward my own views on Sadiq Khan, the scourge of London. Yesterday morning he was on Talk Radio saying the same thing.

Every time I think how incredibly bad the Conservatives are in Government, Khan is on hand to demonstrate how much worse things could be.

Note: Abusing film titles will not continue into 2023, the joke is probably wearing a little thin.
The text from Gareth’s Telegraph article is also available here. (PDF.)
