29 October (Part 1) - Eight months on and Transport for London is still a failure
It
was in March when it was
first
reported to TfL that they had installed the wrong bus stop outside Abbey
Wood station. It had the wrong location marked on it and as a consequence the
wrong list of buses calling at it.
In July they replied to say there
everyone was
talking nonsense apart from them. The bus stop that is quite obviously the
wrong one was, according to the overpaid bunglers at Transport for London, in fact the right one.
Back the correspondence went again hoping against hope that TfL would for once
respond within their promised ten days.
No such luck.
After rather more than three months TfL has replied. They belatedly acknowledge their
error but have totally failed to fix it.
Well it has only been like it for eight months; poor loves.
