The unusual site banners are to bring attention to the fact that Labour activists in Bexley are manipulating Facebook Groups with fictional posters. They deny it, threaten police action for ‘harassing’ a fictitious character and then demonstrate their willingness to impersonate by creating a false Administrator account in my name. The banner on display is chosen randomly from a selection of three, with a fourth bearing the familiar Bexley Council is Bonkers logo.

9 June (Part 2) - Penny wise, pound foolish. The result

Lesnes Park Lesnes Park Save £200,000 by not closing park gates and abandoning security patrols and this may be the result. Lesnes Abbey recreation ground’s principal structure was burned out this evening.

As councillors Seán Newman and Stefano Borella (Labour) said when councillor Gareth Bacon cancelled the Ward Security contract, the costs will be transferred to the emergency services, but they weren’t entirely correct. The taxpayer will not only pay those expenses but pick up the equipment replacement costs too.

Danson Park was burned out too in January.
