If you are a fan of road markings then Bellegrove Road is the
place to visit. Even the yellow lines are given their own exclusive space.
People will always park where most convenient in preference to nearby parking spaces.
Under the old scheme, residents turning to park on their property stopped on the central
cross-hatching. With this now reduced, they are force to stop partially on the oncoming traffic lane.
Cyclists are now encouraged to use the pavement cycle lane…
…unfortunately, after 100 yards it stops and they have to disappear…
…they are left to fend for themselves through the width restriction before another 50 yards of pavement cycling.
In Welling Way kerb extensions are taking place at its junction with Montrose Avenue.
