12 December (Part 1) - The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. An apology

Some recent blogs have been written with one eye firmly fixed on the libel laws; you just cannot be too careful when up against litigious Councillors.

I thought I had researched yesterday evening’s blog very carefully and that everything stated therein was correct. Even so I cautiously refrained from being too dogmatic and hedged a few bets.

Soon after putting the allegedly forged letter on line I was in receipt of an email from its extremely distressed writer demanding an apology for my inaccurate reporting and its possible damage to her reputation.

Despite my best efforts research had fallen well below the standards expected of this blog. Naturally I sincerely regret the unforgiveable mistake. My formal apology follows…

Apology
The blog dated 11th December 2017 and numbered Part 2 is inaccurate and Bexley-is-Bonkers humbly apologises to all its readers and the former employee of AMAX Estates.

The writer of the letter featured in the aforementioned blog was not a right handed employee of AMAX Estates forced to write a letter under duress with her left hand.

The writer is left handed and was compelled by her employer to write the letter with her right hand.

Furthermore Bexley-is-Bonkers regrets any doubt cast on the integrity of the letter writer by failing to specifically provide her employer’s name
.

With luck I will not be following Councillor Fothergill into the High Court.

This piece is of course written with tongue firmly in cheek.
